Crane Type Overview
*Staight Boom (Telescopic) Material Handling Crane
Application - Roof top delivery, ground drops, setting whole wall
panels, steel beams, trusses, palletized material (when equiped with
pallet forks), lifting material or equipment high up and working over
parapet walls
Advantages - roof top delivery, setting trusses & beams, getting
over parapet walls, quick set up is quicker than other styles of crans
for repetitive lifts
Limitations - Very difficult to handle dry wall, bed space could be
limited
Options - radio remote control, pallet forks, various boom lengths and
mounting configurations
* Knuckle Boom/Material Handling Crane
Application - palletized material (with fork option), bundles of
lumber, roofing material, truss work, pre cast concrete, foundation
forms, drywall
Advantages - works well for ground drops to roof top delivery, can set
trusses, can work over parapet roofs, can be equipped with many optiosn
to meet any applicaiton.
Limitations - options can be expensive, if equipped with hyd. fork and
rotator, stowing forks can be difficult and time consuming.
Options - radio remote, top seat control (riding seat), self leveling
forks or hyd forks and rotator, fly jib, winch, various boom lengths
and mounting configurations
* Dry Wall/Universal Material Handling Crane
Application - dry wall, palletized material (roofing, block, etc.),
bundled lumber
Advantages - works well for gound drops or roof top, forks and rotator
are hydraulic and have continous rotation, cranes are light enough to
allow truck payload
Limitations - lift capacity is limited to capacity of fork &
rotator, very hard to do truss work, very hard to work over parapets,
no winch option, boom stows over payload limiting payload height,
limited boom length

pickup, haul and dump contains of verying sizes. We can help you decide
which is the right style for you. Both types of rolloffs can be equiped
with interchangable bodies. So that one truck can function as a
traditional rolloff or a dump bed, flat bed or even a water truck. Let
